These pictures were taken by Jon Howarth, one day after the previous picture range. It all appears wind and weather tight but for the Velux roof lights. Also, additional materials - like the slates for the roof - have arrived. As the roof is nearly ready for slating they’re right on time. Looks like James runs a very concise logistical process. Jon took this picture so his was able to verify that the correct slates have been ordered.

Update 11-09-2007: We can’t really remember ever discussing the type of slates. But, the ones that were used are just great. they have a bit of old look and give the house a really traditional appearance.

These pictures were taken by Jim on the 15th of June. Jim and his wife June have bought a plot of land at Totaig, some three miles north of Skinidin. They’re in the process of starting their own build project and moving to Skye.
