Couch potato

February 25, 2008

Jingles, couch potato...This was a strange weekend. I’m glad it’s Monday again. First Roger and Claire were really busy sorting a trip to Inverness. They were talking about a party and even bought a special travel crate for me. Yuk! Well in the end we didn’t go. I think it was because Roger had a bad back. He walked about like an old man. Claire had to help him put on his socks! This was good as I could get into some really good mischief without him capable of catching me!!

I’m getting really big now. At least that’s what Claire says. I think she’s a bit sad that I’m no longer a baby. But, I can do new tricks, now I’m getting bigger. I can climb onto the sofa on my own. Roger called me “couch potato”. I don’t know what that is, but he thought it was very funny.

Today we had to go to the vets again. It was really good. I love going there. He checked my tummy as there’s still a bit of rumbling going on in there. The check-up felt like a good massage and I had to do my best not to fall asleep. He also put something in my behind and mumbled that my temp was a wee bit high. They do talk funny, those grown-ups, don’t they?? Before I knew it we were back in the car on our way home. Can’t wait to get back…
