Site theme updated…

February 26, 2008

I took the plunge and updated the site theme to a new version level. This is always a tedious job. Most things are working but… there are still problems with the Skye Search Engine which is not displaying its result page and the Google Map also refuses to work properly. I’ll dive into that during this week…

Also, the new version seems to default at a double column on the right hand side. Although the old version got rather cramped I’m not sure whether I like the new layout.

If you come across any problems, please let me know!

[Update - 27th February 2008] The Skye Search returns results again.
[Update - 27th February 2008] Only one column displaying on the right side. Back to “normal” again.

[Update - 28th February 2008] Added a new FLICKR based gallery which is very cool. It covers a broad selection of our photo’s published on FLICKR. Besides browsing in-site, there’s a neat slide show facility. Turn up your favorite music and enjoy some Skye scenery or sunsets… Further, tweaked the colors of the layout a bit, as a welcoming change to the minimalistic black layout.

Thanks to Caroline for pointing out some issues with the new template!
