The project is tendered

The build of our house is now tendered to four builders. The tender is closing on Friday, September 30th at 12:00 noon. After this, Jon will review all the received responses and advice us on the builder.

As tendering is a confidential process, no disclosure is here made to the builders that are invited. When the builder has been choosen, we will publish the name on this site.

A tender is basically requesting a selected number of builder for a price quote for the full build. Jon has prepared this process with a elaborate document describing all specifics of the build: foundations, heating, finishings of outside walls, bathroom, kitchen, floors, tiling etc. Preparing the tender is a typical job done by a surveyor, which is Jon’s profession.
